NEW YORK, July 17, 2026--DWS Municipal Income Trust (NYSE: KTF) (the "Fund") announced today that its Board of Trustees has approved a Plan of Liquidation and Termination for the Fund (the "Plan") related to the previously announced liquidation of the Fund to occur no later than November 30, 2026. As further described below, a final liquidating distribution is expected to be made on or about November 20, 2026, for the Fund.
