The Franklin Solana ETF is an exchange-traded fund designed to provide investors with direct exposure to the Solana blockchain ecosystem. It tracks the CF Benchmarks Solana Index and employs a passive management strategy, holding actual Solana tokens (SOL) in physical custody rather than derivatives. The fund integrates a staking component, allowing up to 100% of its Solana holdings to be staked on the network, capturing rewards paid in SOL tokens, which may add an income feature to the investment. This ETF features a competitive management fee of 0.19%, with an initial fee waiver on the first $5 billion of assets to attract institutional capital.
