Huntington Bank is closing 13 branches across Michigan, according to the Detroit Free Press, including two in West Michigan. The Free Press reports Huntington did not give a specific reason for the closures, though the bank told the paper it regularly reviews its branch network and adjusts locations as needed. A Huntington spokesperson told the Free Press the bank is working to place affected employees in other roles.
The Columbus, Ohio-based bank will still have the most Michigan branches of any bank in the state.
