Friedman Industries, Incorporated is a metals manufacturing and processing company focused on steel products for industrial and construction markets. Friedman Industries operates through two business segments: Flat-Roll Products and Tubular Products. Its flat-roll operations process hot-rolled coils into sheet and plate products and provide toll processing and storage services for customer-owned steel. Its tubular operations manufacture line pipe, oil country pipe, and structural pipe used in energy, infrastructure, and fabrication applications. The company also supports metals distribution customers that supply materials to manufacturers of metal buildings, railcars, heavy equipment, trailers, tanks, containers, and other fabricated metal products. Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Longview, Texas, Friedman Industries plays a specialized role in the U.S. steel supply chain by converting raw steel into finished and semi-finished products used across multiple downstream industries.
